In 2018, JARI was appointed by State Key Laborator in Marine Pollution of City University of Hong Kong to work with Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and Hong Kong Fishermen Consortium to pilot a grouper Fry Chamber to grow grouper on the sea. The project was set up to contribute to the fishery industry in Hong Kong.

JARI honor to be involved in this meaningful project. JARI is responsible to design and install two Life Support System and Sea Water Intake and Filtration System to the chamber.
