In 2017, Ocean Builder contracted to build the Marine Biology Laboratory for The Harbour School (THS).  THS is a primary and secondary international school founded in Hong Kong which takes a customized approach to learning. Marine Biology Laboratory is a feature at the extended campus.  Ocean Builder provides turnkey solution for the project; manages concept ideation, schematic design, lighting and Life Support System design, engineering; construction and installation, on-site supervision to commissioning.

To promote integration between THS and the community, a community display aquarium is set and symbol of the school – the Black Dolphin ketch model, places in it. Mangrove as the theme, a touch pool with different water level, steps and viewing panels are designed to cater students with different needs. A variety of tanks is set up for different curriculum.

THS dedicate effort create high quality learning environment to raise new generation interests in marine biology, promote environment conservation and respect on lives, these coincides with Ocean Builder’s values.
